Makeitha H. AbdulBarr, LCPC

Makeitha AbdulBarrMakeitha AbdulBarr is the Chief Operations Officer of Metropolitan Mental Health Clinic. She embodies the clinic’s mission statement which is the commitment to “improving the quality of life, one person at a time." As the Chief Operations Officer, she provides management oversight in the clinic in the areas of management strategies and implementation of the clinic’s policies and practices. Her duties extend beyond the clinic walls into the community. She serves as the Director of Community Outreach.

Ms. AbdulBarr holds a Master of Education degree in Guidance and Counseling from Bowie State University. Her undergraduate work was completed at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mental Health. Ms. AbdulBarr began at an early age adapting to different cultures and languages. She lived and received her early education in Amsterdam, Holland. Rome, New York, and Merced, California. Natalie N. Hughes-Perry, LGSW

Natalie Hughes-PerryNatalie Hughes-Perry is the Chief Administration Officer of Metropolitan Mental Health Clinic and is dedicated and committed to “improving the quality of life, one person at a time.” As the Chief Administration Officer, she stays abreast of social policies that govern the implementation of the clinics program. She advocates for individuals; families; and groups to empower social change and to overcome social injustices.

Natalie obtained a Master of Science degree in Social Work from University of Maryland at Baltimore. There Natalie gained the experience and knowledge to strengthen relationships to enhance social conditions and promote change. While growing up in Amsterdam, Holland, Natalie experienced first hand the impact of cultural differences and adapted to the diversity amongst cultural groups. She lived and received her early education in Amsterdam, Holland, Rome, New York, and Merced, California.
